Dubai and Abu Dhabi – Top 10 Photo Spots

The best places to take photos when visiting Dubai and the Burj Khalifa

If you want to know the best places to take photos in Dubai, you have come to the right place. This post from Fabien, photographer and blogger at Travel Pixelz, lists ten of the top places to visit in Dubai and take some gorgeous photos along with a great description of what to expect and how to reach them. Especially great is the tip about getting to the top of the iconic Burj Khalifa and the cheapest way to do it. Finally, it wouldn’t be a very good photo blog without some stunning pictures, and they’re plenty of them, especially the one of The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, my personal fave.

Where to take the best photos of Dubai

That said, here’s a bit more from Fabien: “Dubai and Abu Dhabi are probably the two most well-known of the overall seven Emirates, that together form the United Arab Emirates at the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula. Due to its large oil reserves, the United Arab Emirates – again Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the pioneers – nowadays is especially famous for its extremely ambitious building projects. The attitude of bigger, faster, higher does not only help the Emirates to establish themselves on the map of worldwide tourism, but also produced some stunning locations to take photos.

Especially of flashy skyscrapers, impressive cityscapes and glittery skylines. A visit to Dubai Creek and the famous Spice Souk and Gold Souk are definitely worth it. Here you can catch a glimpse of a different and more traditional Dubai.

So if you are into photography, and traveling to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, then make sure to include these 10 locations in your shooting list to bring home some signature shots.”
