Boabab Avenue and Kirindy Forest Madagascar

A wonderful post here about visiting Madagascar and the Boabab Avenue. It is from Vanessa on her gorgeous travel blog Wanders Miles. Here’s what she has to say about it:

“A trip to Madagascar is not complete without a wander down the wondrous Boabab Avenue. The 260m tree lined road between Morondava and Belon’i Tsiribihina was stunning, especially at sunset. The golden glows on the iconic trees are a beautiful sight.

Our beach stay in Nosy Bay Morondava was very relaxing although the market was pretty hectic along the streets. You can watch the fishermen bring in the fish and enjoy a night in the reggae bar into the small hours.

Not too far from this town you will find the Kirindy Forest where you can see wildlife endemic to Madagascar such as the lemurs, fossas (endangered predator), birds, reptiles and trees.”

So what are you waiting for, find out all about Baobab Avenue and much more.
