Exploring Kuta, Lombok, in 72 hours

Kuta, in southern Lombok, is a truly special area with plenty of stunning beaches to explore. I visited myself a couple of years ago when I learnt to surf (great place to do that) but this post is from another lucky couple that have discovered the delights of Lombok.

Miles Less Traveled

It comes from husband and wife blogging duo Joe and Alicia, whose blog, Miles Less Traveled, specialises in travel and running.

In this post they dish the advice on Kuta, the small town in southern Lombok, including where to stay, what to see, what to do, and more.

Here’s what they have to say:

“Skip the busy shops, restaurants, and bars in Bali and take a trip to Lombok. This island is full of deserted white sand beaches, turquoise water, and friendly people. A place to visit that gives you the comfortable and chill surfer lifestyle in an incredibly unique way.

Focusing on the Kuta region, find out what beaches to explore, where to stay, and helpful tips to get the most out of your stay. Kuta is a must visit for those coming to the island, and one we are surely going to come back to. Read, book your ticket, and enjoy your trip!”
