The island of Lombok (Indonesia) is home to the incredible Mount Rinjani, a volcano popular with trekkers from around the world. Read about my story of taking on a three-day trek across the crater, where although I had the option to summit Rinjani’s peak, I decided I would enjoy my visit more if I avoided joining the crowds on the steep climb and didn’t regret it for even a second.
