Did you know you can do a day trip to the iconic Stonehenge from London? Odds are if you’re staying in the capital for more than a few days, an excursion to a quieter town would be a great respite. What I like about this blog is it aims to open people’s eyes a little wider and encourage them to visit more of England than just the capital. In fact, one of the many beautiful things about England is just how small it is; you can pretty much visit anywhere in a day.
This blog is from Amanda at Dangerous Business. Although she was sponsored to take the trip, I think it takes an honest view and introduces six great ideas to take a quick break away from city life. Out of the six, I’d definitely go along with Stratford-Upon-Avon and Bath, although I would also add a seventh . . . Cambridge, but maybe I’ll have to do a blog post about that myself!
If you’d like to know more about the trips, read Amanda’s blog here: 6 Day trips you can easily take from London
Bonus info: Worth checking out Amanda’s site, if just for the awesome header image!
