Often confused with the Italian Alps, The Dolomites are actually their own small mountain range (albeit it connected to The Alps) located in Northen Italy. Famous for their characteristically steep peaks and bizarre rock formations, offering up amazing climbing, hiking, winter sports and more, they are hugely popular with outdoor adventurists year round.
Shoot From the Trip in The Dolomites
This post comes from Dylan, on his awesomely named blog Shoot From the Trip. As the name suggests it focuses heavily on photography, and in this post, he doesn’t disappoint.
The post tracks Dylan’s trip through the mountain range, including stops at Ortisei, Seceda, Seiser Alm, Lake Misurina, Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Lago di Braies, supplemented, of course, by some amazing photos.
What made me chuckle was how many photos involve cable cars, even though he confesses he doesn’t like riding in them! The things we do to get a good photo.
