Pohnpei is the largest island in the Federated States of Micronesia. Located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, it is a small fleck of emerald in a vast cobalt sea. Because of its remote location and relative inaccessibility, Pohnpei receives only a small handful of visitors per year. Yet, travelers willing to step out of their comfort zones and venture off the beaten path, will be rewarded with gushing waterfalls, tropical rainforest canopies, resplendent coral gardens and some of the most enigmatic archeological wonders on Earth.
